Another amazing artist born out of Los Angeles, Augustine “Kofie” has made a huge contribution to the graffiti/street art scene with his unique “drafting” style.  Kofie’s artwork has been featured in numerous commercials, music videos, and art galleries.

One common mistake we all tend to step into is not designing for the user and the website’s intended purpose. As designers, we have our own style and taste for aesthetics which can be debated till the cows come home, but in the end design is all about communicating the content and its intended purpose for the users.

Ever tried creating a two column liquid llist with one of the columns being a fixed width? Usually creating table-like layouts in CSS can be a pain, but this quick tutorial will fix this common issue.

I was browsing through some of my old bookmarks and stumbled across a lot of Japanese typography/font websites and I thought I would like to share them with some of you. Although Japanese fonts may not be something you would use on a typical day, maybe it can be of use one day. Just recently I added a couple videos under the “Artist Spotlight” posts but ran into a few invalid XHTM errors. Not only did I get the errors but I also had to style the player with CSS. I’m sure some of you may have come across similar incidents, so I thought it may be helpful to share my solution.
